To ensure that eye care services are available and affordable to all sections of society, regardless of their socio-economic status. This includes screening, diagnostics, and surgical interventions.
Eliminate preventable and treatable blindness:
We strive to reduce the prevalence of preventable and treatable blindness by offering comprehensive eye care services, including cataract surgeries and treatment for other ocular conditions.
Improve overall healthcare delivery:
To improve the overall healthcare delivery system in Bolangir district. This includes providing general medical services, obstetrics/gynecology, surgery, pediatrics, and emergency care.
Conduct community outreach and education:
The project recognizes the importance of community engagement and education in promoting health awareness and preventive practices. Through outreach programs, the hospital seeks to educate the local population about eye health, general healthcare, and the importance of seeking timely medical attention.
Collaborate with government initiatives:
The project actively works in collaboration with government initiatives and programs aimed at improving healthcare in the region. This includes being registered under schemes like Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojna (BSKY) and District Blindness Control Society (DBCS) to provide universal health coverage and specialized eye care services. By addressing the healthcare needs of the marginalized and deprived communities in Balangir district, Supreme Task General Hospital & Netraniketan Eye Care Centre aims to make health a reality and promote healing and wellness for people of all ages in a compassionate and loving environment consistent with Christian principles.
