Out of every 5 people in India, one cannot read or write. We attempt to change that.Supreme Task India is working to uplift children and young people out of poverty through the power of literacy. We believe that every child should be able to read and write so they can enjoy lifelong learning and empowerment. We are committed to providing educational assistance to the deprived people and maximizing our impact through innovative solutions that bring quality education across the unreached India.
Our Literacy Centre was set up in 2013. Since then thousands of students have passed out. This is an institution of transformation in the lives of the neglected, marginalized poor children.
The long-term development goal of the project is a world, in which everyone is literate, where there is free access to quality education for all.
In Slums of Delhi, children are the prime victims of child labor, child abuse, drug addiction and alcohol. They are far away from good education, deprived of nutritious food, live under hazardous environment and closely connected with violence.
The project reaches out to deprived children in slums and villages with a positive approach of proving free basic education, awareness on hygiene and nutritious food.
We bring children closer to education, mapping out-of-school children and aiding their movement to formal schooling. We are now recognized and respected as the voice of the most marginalized children of Delhi slums. This is because we have been relentless in our pursuit to give children a childhood to cherish and a future to look forward to.
